Each person's process is unique!
What should I wear?

You will remain clothed during the session.

Wear comfortable, loose clothes similar to what you would wear to exercise or do yoga.

Jeans and short skirts are not recommended. 

What should I expect during an in-person session?

We will use verbal / somatic processing and therapeutic bodywork and energy work to identify and process mental, emotional, and physical pain or tension. Touch can vary from light touch, gentle rocking, and deep pressure. We will communicate to make sure you are always within your comfort zone. This is your session and time to process anything you'd like support around. Each session is unique, and we will work together to bring alignment to the issues you’d like to address.


Generally, most people feel very relaxed during the session, and go into a meditative relaxed state.

What should I expect during an online or phone session?

Usually, online sessions focus more on Somatic Trauma Coaching. Online sessions can be very similar to in-person sessions, except that we will be doing the same Craniosacral and Polarity techniques from a distance.

Sessions are through Zoom or on the phone, and can be done sitting up or lying down. Usually we will start sitting up, and then could transition to lying down. Many clients like to be on their bed or couch so they can be comfortable.

And process-based work such as Family & Systems Constellations using objects or the inner eye for trî.

How will I feel after the session?

Everybody is different, and there is no “normal” way to feel during or after a session. Effects can be immediate, or sometimes can take a few days for the body or mind to process. Sometimes, the issue may get worse before it gets better. 


We recommend that you notice what comes up for you and be gentle with yourself if you feel a little more sensitive than usual. Healing can take time, and the more you can allow ourselves to be with what comes up physically or emotionally, the more those issues can release or shift. 

What can I do after the session to retain the most positive benefits?

One of the most important thing you can do is to drink lot of water after your session! This will help any metabolic waste that is released from your tissues to cleanse from your body.


If you are unable to take a bath described below, taking a shower is also very beneficial.

I recommend an Epsom salt bath (2-3 cups Epsom salt per bath) due to its myriad benefits.

The magnesium in Epsom salts:

  • Raises serotonin

  • Reduces muscles soreness and inflammation

  • Promotes calm and sleep

  • Is energetically grounding

For additional benefits, you can also add:

  • a handful of sea salt (additional minerals and energetic cleansing)

  • a handful of baking soda (alkalizing)

  • 3-6 drops of therapeutic grade* essential oil** (mix into salt before adding to bath)


* Inexpensive oils can irritate the skin as they often contain added synthetic fillers.

** Some oils that are beneficial: lavender, marjoram, ylang ylang, rosemary, sandalwood, frankincense, orange, bergamot, geranium, cedarwood, cypress, patchouli, roman chamomile

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

Please give 48 hrs notice for any cancellations or if you need to reschedule.

Cancellations, outside of illness or emergency, will be charged at the  full session rate.
